An election is to be held for the following number of Councillors in the two town wards of the above Town Council:

Wadebridge East Ward 3
Wadebridge West Ward 2

If the election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday 4 November 2021.

Thank you to whoever decided to remove one of our lovely Palm trees at the recently renovated and planted beds in Jubilee Circle. We are unsure if this was anti-social behaviour or if it has been stolen for re-planting. The Town Council do not enjoy posting negative things but occasionally we are left with no choice due to the actions of inconsiderate people.

It is very disappointing as the feedback on these beds has been greatly received by our Parks team who spend lots of time making this a lovely area for all to enjoy.   The trees were also very kindly donated to us by an ex Councillor (and Wadebridge resident).  Whoever took the palm tree also enjoyed pulling out and destroying the lovely begonias too – perhaps you need some gardening advice to understand that time and effort that others spend making our parks so nice rather than just ruining it with your thoughtless actions.

This has been reported to 101 and hopefully the CCTV in the lower car park catches the culprits.  we will update this post with the crime reference number as soon as it’s been provided in case anyone has any information.
