Funding Opportunity for Local Community Groups - Closing date 31 August 2020

To those of you that aren’t aware, have forgotten about or are still thinking about applying to us for a Proceeds Of Crime Act (POCA) grant, then the clock is ticking away to the deadline of midnight on the 31 August 2020.

As a reminder anyone can apply for a grant and that includes statutory, regulatory & charitable organisations as well as members of the general public, agencies, clubs, schools etc. where there is a need to obtain funds for a project. The maximum grant is £5,000 however for the first time this year we are accepting joint applications up to a maximum of 4 which means a potential total grant of up to a maximum of £20,000 to fund a joint project!  One applicant would act as the “project manager.” For those who wish to make a joint application, then we only need to receive one application for the whole project however this must contain a breakdown of how each individual project would contribute to the overall project and also contain a detailed cost analysis for each individual project applicant.

An application form and a set of Terms & Conditions can only be obtained by downloading them from our website www.stoploansharks.co.uk

For anyone who is interested in applying to us for one of these grants but who needs more information or questions answered, then feel free to contact me direct however please note that I am not part of the team that will decide which projects are successful or not as this is done by a team at national level.

Good luck and stay safe,
