One of our Town Councillors Trevor Wiltshire took on the challenge and time to repair and renovate the 'Welcome to Wadebridge' sign over the winter months.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Trevor for the time and effort he put into repairing the sign and to our Parks staff for helping put the sign back up.

Keep an eye out when you're passing, you'll notice the big difference!

On Monday and Tuesday, the Book of Condolence will be located in the Foyer Office of the Town Hall with only one person being able to access the Book at any time.  A queuing system will be in place and a member of staff available to assist with this.  Please note that disabled access is not available on these days.

From Wednesday onwards, the Book will be located in the Main Hall with four separate tables available.

Town council staff will be available to assist members of the public and to also ensure that social distancing is adhered to at all times throughout the sessions.

The Book of Condolence is made up of loose-leaf pages that will be bound and retained by the Town Council. After the funeral, a letter will be sent to the Queen’s Private Secretary advising of the Book of Condolence and the number of signatures received.

We understand that there will be an official Buckingham Palace Condolence Book – more information on how to access this will be advised as and when it is received.
