We would like to thank all those involved who worked hard to help organise and arrange the Remembrance Parade on Sunday 14th November 2021. It was wonderful to see the community come together on such a fine morning to honour the Fallen.

Thursday morning saw another large gathering outside of the Town Hall for the Act of Remembrance at 11:00am, thank you to all those who attended.

We look forward to another successful Parade in 2022.

Thursday 11th November 2021, The Act of Remembrance will take place outside the Town Hall at 11:00am . An Air Raid Siren will sound the start of the two-minute silence and the all clear.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED - Christmas Lights 2021🎄🔨

Wadebridge Town Council are looking for volunteers to help with the erection of the Christmas Lights on Sunday 28 November 2021.

The Town Council are looking for people to assist either all day or with morning/afternoon shifts. You will be working with the reliable team at Davey Electrical Services ltd who depend on volunteers every year to make the Town's display successful.

The approximate shift timings are:

- ALL DAY 8am until 5pm (or completion)
- AM shift 8am until 12pm
- PM shift 12:30pm until 5pm (or completion)

The Town Council have responded to the consultation and await the outcome of the analysis.  We hope many of you took the time to ensure your views are heard.

Remembrance Sunday 14 November 2021:

On behalf of Wadebridge Town Council and the Royal British Legion (Wadebridge Branch) we invite you to the Remembrance Parade and Church Service on Sunday 14th November 2021.

Schedule as follows:

  • Commencing 10:15am, Memorial Stones, Egloshayle Playing Fields, Wadebridge - an Act of Remembrance, wreath laying and two-minute silence will be take place at this location. Please assemble at the Memorial Stones by 10:00am.
  • Parade & Service – following the above, there will be a parade to Egloshayle Church where the Remembrance Service will be held. If you do not wish to take part in the Parade then you should be seated in Egloshayle Church by 10:50am
  • Post Service Parade – following the Church Service there will be a parade back to the Memorial Stones.

In addition to the above, you are also invited to attend the Act of Remembrance held by the RBL outside the Town Hall. An Air Raid Siren will sound the start of the two-minute silence and the all clear.
