Wadebridge Town Council is extremely disappointed to report that over the weekend the Pavilion Building in Egloshayle Playing Fields was targeted yet again in an act of mindless vandalism.

Sadly, this seems to be a recurring event for the Pavilion Building which is used daily by a pre-school nursery and many other organisations around Wadebridge.

After the efforts of the Parks Department to bring our park back into use for our town following significant delays in the works carried out by South West Water it is sad to think that this is the way individuals see fit to behave.

Works are underway by Town Council Staff to recitfy the damage.

The Town Council has reported this criminal act to the police and would ask if anyone has information in relation to this incident to please contact the Police on 101 or by emailing on 101@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk - quoting Crime Reference Number CR/69206/18

Polite Notice

The football goals at Egloshayle Playing Fields have temporarily been removed due to replacement goal posts and to make the necessary ground repairs.

This is being done in line with the long awaited reinstatment of the playing fields as it nears completion. Wadebridge Town Council estimate that the football goals will be out of action for approximately 2-4 weeks.

Apologies for any inconvenience.
