Council Tax Scam

We have had an email from Sarah Mason - County Executive Officer of CALC to do with a Council Tax scam, please see below.

"I have been advised that company is phoning local individuals claiming to be able to rerate your property to achieve reductions in council tax and tax banding.  They require your credit card and £65 payment up front.  I can confirm that we have checked this with Cornwall Council and Trading Standards and that this is a scam.  Could you please pass on the message within your area
